Cap Haitien

Dear ConVal, I'm here!! A long ,hot day, and many new sights and sounds: I'll bring back pictures. The hospital is bigger than I thought, and there about 300 patients here. I have been working in the pharmacy organizing the medicines and supplies. It is very confusing and misorganized, but after cleaning it up today, we will move to a different building tomorrow! With lights and a lock on the door. This will make everyone happy !It is super hot and I get to sleep in a tent. I'll be careful with the mosquitos though. I'm really tired as I have walked miles to the tents and back to the compound many times. Beans and rice for lunch-- potatoes and salad for dinner - and it tasted great. Good nite, I'm very tired, cher

  1. Hi Cher,
We're here at school missing you! It was awesome that you got to go to the beach. It's still cold here, but nice and sunny. We discussed your lunch and dinner and decided what food groups the foods you ate were in. We had fun at the Special Olympic Basketball Tournament Saturday. It was a long day.
We can't wait to hear from you again.

  2. Carrie and I saw in our book about Haiti that in Port-au-Prince people ride on colorful buses called tap-taps. Did you ride on anything like that?
